Larissa’s Special Style began with a mother who refused to accept that discomfort had to be part of her daughter’s daily care. When Larissa was little, disposable trach ties and pads left her delicate skin irritated. Determined to find a gentler solution, her mom began making soft, washable trach ties and pads using carefully selected cotton fabrics for sensitive skin. Soon, comfort became something more. Her mom began creating trach ties in beautiful prints that matched Larissa’s little outfits, allowing her personality and style to shine beyond her medical needs. After seeing the difference they made in Larissa’s comfort and confidence, she began creating them for other children and adults who deserved that same thoughtful care. Today, Larissa still wears the custom trach ties her mom makes for her. Every LSS product is handmade with the same love, purpose, and attention that inspired the very first one—because no one should have to choose between comfort, safety, and style.
